How to Add Black into Your Bathroom Design

We are starting to see a strong influence of black in interiors again. It is the equivalent of putting on ‘The Little Black Dress’. The colour never dates and along with white, is a true classic. You will always add a touch of sophistication and ‘je ne sais quoi’ to any room in your house when using it.  And, it’s also easily accessorised with almost any other colour you choose.

There is no denying the visual impact the monochrome look makes in bathrooms. Whether using more subtle accessories or going all out with black panelled shower screens. Even tying in all the brassware. You’ll be sure to make a statement.

The current industrial trend often includes black within the design scheme. Whether it be handles and legs for a basin unit, brassware, or even the sanitaryware itself.

We have designed, supplied and installed many bathrooms that have used this colour in them. From black furniture with white tiles to the other way around. You can easily add a touch of luxury by using gold accessories or a sleek and modern design with either chrome or brushed chrome taps and accessories. You could also add a black blind on your bathroom or cloakroom window to complete the look.
